Sojern provides cool and interesting travel content for your flight and your trip. Earning your trust is important to us – it’s a responsibility we take seriously. Our Privacy Policy applies to our online services and any content or information we serve up there (the “Service”), as well as the Sojern.com website, any subdomain of sojern.com, and any other website pages on which the Service is provided (collectively, the “Site”). What information does Sojern gather and how is it used?

Sharing personally identifiable information with us – such as name, address, telephone number or email address - is entirely optional.

  • Each time you visit the Site or use the Service, we may collect information about your visits, such as your Internet service provider, browser type, operating system, pages accessed on the Site or when using the Service, the date and time of access and other websites you access after visiting our Site. We use this information to optimize your experience and enhance the quality of the time you spend with us online. Does Sojern Conduct Online Surveys?

We like feedback, which means we may conduct online surveys to solicit your opinions and comments. Participation in these surveys is of course optional. If you choose to participate, the information you provide will be aggregated with information from other users to make improvements to the user experience and develop appealing content, features and promotions. Unless otherwise noted in a survey, your participation will remain anonymous.

We may also invite you to register with us as a member of our Traveler Advisory Group (“TAG”). After you register, we may invite you to participate in various surveys or studies, and we may even send you a special offer or gift as a thank you for your participation. To register, we will ask you to provide us with some personal information, but that information will only be used to determine which surveys or studies might be appropriate for you and to communicate with you about the TAG program, surveys and studies.

Does Sojern have a feedback center?

You can ask us questions on our website (www.sojern.com). You can also share comments or suggestions with us. Your questions, comments and suggestions may not be kept confidential. We may use your questions, comments and suggestions to improve the Site and the Service but we will have no obligation to compensate you for any such contributions. If you offer your name and address when you contact us, we’ll be happy to respond directly to you.

With whom does Sojern share my personally identifiable information?

We don’t sell your name or other personally identifiable information to third parties. We may share with third parties anonymous, aggregated information about our users.

We may also use or disclose information to resolve disputes or investigate problems. We may disclose or access information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or if we consider it necessary to maintain service and improve our products and services.

What about International Users?

The Site and the Service are hosted and operated in the United States of America. If you are not a resident of the United States, you acknowledge and agree that we may collect and use your personal information outside your home jurisdiction, and that we may store your personal information in the United States. Does Sojern collect information from children under the age of 13?

The Site and the Service are not intended for use by children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from kids that age. Does the Site contain links to other websites?

Sojern.com contains links to other sites not owned by us that may have different privacy practices from ours. We aren’t responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and our Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to information collected by those sites. What about your California Privacy Rights?

California’s “Shine the Light” law entitles California residents who provide their personal information to us in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use to obtain from us information about any customer information we have shared with other businesses for their direct marketing uses, including the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year. California law permits you to obtain such information from us once per calendar year.

Sojern does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes unless you affirmatively agree to such disclosure as stated above in this Privacy Policy. If we do share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes and you do ask us to include your information as well, we will only share that information in connection with that specific promotion.
