Media Coordinator

Sojern Inc. is looking for a talented individual to fill an open Media Coordinator position in the expanding Ad Operations department. A Media Coordinator is a media professional who will be responsible for supporting their designated sales account manager’s campaigns. This important role requires someone who possesses an ability to manage many details at once as you will be actively managing the insertion order placements that form the core of Sojern’s business. The key responsibilities are implementation, reporting and optimization of advertising campaigns. Position will be a full time temp-to-hire in order to give the candidate and Sojern enough time to evaluate the fit of talent and position.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure ongoing campaign success through regular performance analysis and optimization proposals.
  • Provide technical and timeline requirements to clients while managing internal deadline schedules.
  • Implement and manage advertising campaigns using 3rd party ad server reports and internal tools.
  • Partner with internal sales and engineering departments as well as externally with advertisers and agencies to execute successful online advertising banner campaigns.
  • Manage and execute monthly client reporting as well as assist with internal billing.
  • Troubleshooting any issues (technical or otherwise) and providing a reasonable, realistic solution.
  • Provide knowledgeable insight and advice to account manager and revenue operations by keeping them informed on campaign status.
  • Assisting in various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or business
  • 1-2 years of on-line advertising experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for interactive media/marketing with strong working knowledge of the Internet.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills, a sharp eye for details, and proven problem solving skills.
  • Desire and ability to provide responsive/responsible client service (i.e., make each client feel they are our priority, provide appropriate recommendation/consultation for each advertising effort, respond intelligently to all client requests.)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel, and a working knowledge of HTML

Account Manager

Job Description:
Account Managers have the opportunity to work with major brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online advertising environment. The Account Manager at Sojern plays two critical roles in our sales organization. The first is strategizing and supporting our sales representatives to build world class sales presentations and proposals. The second is partnering with clients to ensure advertising campaigns are successfully launched, optimized and delivered. To be successful, you must work well with people, have a well-rounded skill set and be willing to jump in and work hard.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sales representatives to prepare sales presentations and proposals.
  • Provide advertising campaign strategies and brainstorm new ideas and concepts to wow potential clients.
  • Coordinate with sales, ad operations and external clients to ensure campaigns are successfully launched and delivered.
  • Analyze and interpret campaign delivery, performance data and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Service and support clients to earn renewal business.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to interpret business partner and client objectives, identify next steps and execute with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in analyzing data, identifying trends and formulating recommendations.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry is preferred.
  • Willing to travel if necessary.
