Where does Sojern get their inventory?

Sojern is the first travel-specific company to be named a Google DoubleClick Certified Marketing Partner. Why is your intent data more effective than data purchased via third-party data providers or DMPs?

Programmatic buying, also called real-time bidding, is the process of bidding, purchasing, displaying, and optimizing online ads in real-time, using data and technology to execute campaigns. With the introduction of programmatic buying, Sojern is able to use its unique data set and audience profiles to bid on inventory in real time. This translates to more accurately serving travelers ads that are relevant to their interests and preferences. What is a pixel and how is it used?

A pixel is a small piece of computer code you place on your website that identifies how a visitor interacts with your website. When a user engages with your ad, a cookie with a unique ID is placed on their browser. When the same user visits your website, the unique cookie ID is found by the pixel. The pixel then matches the ID to the viewed ad. A pixel is used to track conversions and segment audiences, making it easy to measure the overall impact of an ad campaign.

How does Sojern ensure my ads will appear on brand-safe sites?

Depending on the needs of the campaign and the requirements of the client, Sojern employs several strategies to maintain brand and contextual safety. For the most restrictive targeting, Sojern uses a whitelist to ensure delivery to a subset of websites. We have developed an extensive blacklist to protect against known objectionable websites. In addition, we partner with leading third-party solutions like DoubleVerify and Integral to provide more stringent protections against objectionable content and access to controls for only showing ads above the fold and reducing duplicate ad displays.
