What is Phishing?

Phishing is a type of social engineering attack and cybercrime. It aims to impersonate trusted entities such as banks, government agencies, and public and private companies such as Sojern. The sophistication of phishing attacks has scaled alongside technological advancements, such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) powered phishers. These phishing techniques may come in the form of fake websites, emails, SMS (short messaging service), job offers, or messages on popular websites and apps, including LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X (formerly known as Twitter), and Telegram, appearing to be from Sojern in an attempt to obtain your personal information.
