Mark Rabe

CEO

Mark Rabe is the CEO of Sojern, a travel technology business and five time recipient of Deloitte's 500 Fastest Growing tech firms. Mark was the visionary tapped to transform Sojern from a burgeoning boarding pass advertising business into Travel’s Direct Demand Engine. Built on a decade of expertise analyzing the complete traveler path-to-purchase, Sojern takes travelers from dream to destination driving more than $13 billion in global client bookings to date. Mark’s leadership expertise builds on two decades of executive roles at Yahoo!, Overture and About Inc. Mark received an economics degree from Denison University and MBA from Duke University, and is an active board advisor to tech start-ups.

Curtis Atkisson

CFO

Curtis has more than 20 years of diverse experience both in startup environments and corporate settings. As CFO at Sojern, he is focused on scaling Sojern’s growth.

Curtis has a long history of finance and travel experience, including stints at the SEC, the Federal Reserve Board, Chase Manhattan Bank, United Airlines and, most recently, back-to-back CFO posts at startups in San Francisco. He was co-founder of Affinity Labs and supported its successful exit. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University and has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Brad King

Brad has a passion for travel, big data and digital media, and is an expert in helping the world's top travel brands drive meaningful engagements with their customers. At Sojern, travel’s direct demand engine powering real-time marketing solutions for thousands of brands worldwide, Brad leads a media and data-savvy global team, driving campaign performance, brand lift, and unique audience insights for clients.

Previously, Brad was vice president of marketing at TellApart and a foundational hire at BlueKai, leading channel development efforts from the company's inception. His experience also includes five years of strategic sales leadership at Yahoo!, and management and analytics roles in the travel sector with Hotwire, WorldRes, Vail Resorts and Northwest Airlines.

Brad grew up in the great state of Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Business with a degree in marketing and management.

Brent is an expert at building high-performing teams and developing talented employees. Directly appointed to grow and build the Omaha team, Brent brings a structured, data-driven approach to operations management.

Brent is an experienced corporate and startup leader, specializing in high-growth online media and technology companies, and has spent much of his career working on new products and innovation. Prior to Sojern, Brent held audit and finance roles at companies like Union Pacific and Intuit.

He earned a B.A. in both Business Administration and Economics from Hastings College.

A 20+ year veteran of the Travel, eCommerce, and Technology industries, Cady has spent her career working with marquee global travel companies. In 2015 she founded A23 Advisors, a firm that focuses on the Travel Technology and Hospitality sectors and was a winner of the Stevie Awards Most Innovative Company in 2017. Prior to founding A23, Cady was SVP of Global Sales at Switchfly where she was recognized for her leadership and innovation from the Silicon Valley's Annual Women World Awards, receiving the ``Innovative Woman of the Year`` in Internet/Cloud Computing, as well as ``Women Excellence Case Study Award`` for her achievement and contributions in the technology industry. She started her career in online travel as the Vice President of Partner Marketing at Travelocity. She currently serves on Advisory boards for iSeatz, University of Utah, and the California State Universities Hospitality Initiative.

Cady received a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Arizona State University, and her Masters from the Harrah College of Hospitality Administration at UNLV. She has completed the executive programs at Southern Methodists University's Cox School of Business, as well as the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.

Cady lives in Park City, UT with her husband and three sons; where they are avid outdoor enthusiasts.

He brings more than 17 years of global experience in launching new businesses and building high-performing teams. Prior experience includes leadership roles in both sales and marketing at Dell and Intuit, as well as a short stint leading the US mobile advertising group for Phunware based in Newport Beach, CA.

Chris has a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University and an MBA from The College of William & Mary.

Carl Livadas

A researcher turned entrepreneur, Carl revels in leveraging data, algorithms, and machine learning to deliver compelling business value and drive company growth. He leads Sojern’s engineering and data science teams focusing on using Sojern’s rich datasets to develop new products and improve online ad efficiency. Prior to Sojern, Carl lead data science/engineering for Nanigans’ RTB channels, building out their machine learning pipeline and real-time bid evaluation tier. At inPowered, Carl’s team built out inPowered’s content marketing platform which empowered advertisers to discover, promote, and amplify positive organic content. Prior to inPowered, Carl led Kayak’s deals, email, and online ads engineering, focusing on the delivery of compelling context-aware and personalized products. Carl transitioned to industry after earning his PhD in Computer Science from MIT and working on cyber security research at BBN Technologies and Intel Research.

Previously, Jackie held leadership roles in growth and product marketing, branding, and digital media at AdRoll, Twitter, Apollo Group, and Wells Fargo.

Jackie holds a BA in human biology from Stanford University and an MBA from the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. She lives in San Francisco and enjoys hiking, pondering the psychology of font styles, and traveling the world.

Mat Harris

Mat is a startup veteran with extensive product and commercial leadership experience in mobile advertising. After building and managing a successful digital agency and a video advertising platform in Austin, Texas, he moved to San Francisco to lead product management for InMobi’s rich media authoring platform and was the head of advertising products at Tapjoy.

Mat frequently speaks on topics including dynamic personalization, mobile advertising, marketing strategy, leveraging big audience data, and the future of advertising. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and their three kids. Mat is a 7th generation Texan and barbecue enthusiast.

Parag's expertise in travel marketing and advertising technology were developed and refined by roles at Wyndham, Marriott, Yahoo, Travelzoo, and TripAdvisor, prior to joining Sojern. Parag has a B.A. in English Literature, an M.S. in Hospitality, and an MBA in Information Systems and Marketing from Bentley University.

Based in San Francisco, Paul oversees legal, data privacy, and M&A initiatives to accelerate Sojern’s global market expansion. He has more than 20 years of experience working in the digital and technology industry helping companies grow and scale. Prior to joining Sojern, Paul was the founding General Counsel at Criteo and, most recently, led Corporate Development activities for the $3.5B technology company. Before that, he was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Yahoo!.

Paul holds a B.B.A in finance from Loyola University, Chicago and received his JD from Stanford Law School.

Sanjay Wahi

Sanjay has more than 15 years of experience in using advanced data analytics to drive customer acquisition, online marketing, and product development. As Sojern’s VP of product and insights, he is responsible for setting the direction of Sojern’s traveler engagement platform.

Most recently he was SVP of product management and analytics for Nor1, where he led the company’s efforts in upsell offer optimization. Sanjay was also director of data insights at Yahoo!, where he led the teams responsible for generating actionable insights on ad effectiveness, funnel economics, targeting, retention, engagement, monetization, and other aspects of behavioral analytics. He holds a patent on advanced processing and segmentation methods of web usage data.

Sanjay earned a B.A. in economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.S. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Stephen is a Brit living in San Francisco — from where he oversees the global sales, operations, product, partnerships and marketing for the core Sojern business. Throughout his career, Stephen has been a pioneer of data-driven marketing and is passionate about building global businesses. Most recently, Stephen served as the CEO of Qype, acquired by Yelp.

Prior to that, he led Yahoo!’s European consumer business and was EMEA Managing Director for Overture. Early in his career, Stephen was one of the first employees at Air Miles (acquired by British Airways). Stephen graduated with honors from the University of Birmingham and is a non-executive director of several other internet and mobile businesses.

She also serves on the board of directors for the San Francisco Travel Association.

With her keen insights and sharp, strategic mind, Tiffani serves as a key advisor to Sojern’ leadership team, helping grow the company globally.

Tiffani spent more than 10 years in senior HR and operations roles scaling high-growth startups like Zendesk, Nimblefish and Playfirst. She started her career as a recruiter at the industry-leading Boston Consulting Group. Tiffani holds a B.A. from California State University at Monterrey Bay along with a certification in Professional Human Resources. She is an active member of the technology startup community in the Bay Area and serves as an advisor to other early-stage tech companies.
