With more than 15 years in digital media senior leadership roles, Mark loves the challenge of scaling businesses and is passionate about the role digital plays in the marketing ecosystem.

As CEO of Sojern, he leads a team of travel and online advertising veterans as they build the world’s most powerful data-driven performance marketing engine.

Prior to Sojern, Mark spent more than 6 years at Yahoo! managing the creation and growth of Yahoo!’s Global Sales Team, and directing strategic relationships with the world’s largest global advertisers and agencies. He has also held leadership positions at companies like Overture and About, Inc.

Mark holds a B.A. from Denison University and an MBA from Duke University. He is an active member of the IAB and advisor to several digital media companies.

Curtis Atkisson

CFO

Curtis has more than 20 years of diverse experience both in startup environments and corporate settings. As CFO at Sojern, he is focused on scaling Sojern’s growth.

Curtis has a long history of finance and travel experience, including stints at the SEC, the Federal Reserve Board, Chase Manhattan Bank, United Airlines and, most recently, back-to-back CFO posts at startups in San Francisco. He was co-founder of Affinity Labs and supported its successful exit. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University and has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

If you want to know anything about Big Data, travel and digital media, Brad’s your guy. Having spent the last 10 years working in the online data and media field, he is passionate about the benefits of using big data to enhance digital marketing channels. As the VP of sales for Sojern, Brad develops and leads a team of travel and media experts to help many of the world’s top travel brands drive more efficient and meaningful engagements with their customers.

Previously, Brad was vice president of marketing at TellApart and managing director of channel development for BlueKai. His experience also includes five years of strategic sales leadership at Yahoo!, and management and analytics in the travel sector at Hotwire, WorldRes, VailResorts, and Northwest Airlines.

Brad grew up in the great state of Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Business.

Brent is an experienced corporate and startup leader, specializing in high-growth online media and technology companies, and has spent much of his career working on new products and innovation. Prior to Sojern, Brent held audit and finance roles at companies like Union Pacific and Intuit.

He earned a B.A. in both Business Administration and Economics from Hastings College.

Carl Livadas

An academic turned entrepreneur, Carl is an expert in using data, algorithms, and machine learning to deliver compelling business value and drive company growth. He leads Sojern’s data science team and focuses on leveraging the company’s rich data assets to develop new products and maximize online ad efficiency.

Prior to Sojern, Carl led RTB optimization at Nanigans and managed the build-out of their RTB machine learning pipeline and bid evaluation tier. Before Nanigans, he held senior leadership positions managing engineering teams at inPowered and Kayak and worked on cyber security research at BBN Technologies and Intel Research.

Carl earned a PhD in Computer Science from MIT.

He brings more than 17 years of global experience in launching new businesses and building high-performing teams. Prior experience includes leadership roles in both sales and marketing at Dell and Intuit, as well as a short stint leading the US mobile advertising group for Phunware based in Newport Beach, CA.

Chris has a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University and an MBA from The College of William & Mary.

Jackie holds a BA in human biology from Stanford University and an MBA from the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. She lives in San Francisco and enjoys hiking, pondering the psychology of font styles, and traveling the world.

She has deep background in GAAP accounting, corporate finance, fund raising, process design and implementation, and investor relations. Prior to Sojern, Jennifer held senior finance positions at various startup companies including VP of Finance & Strategy at OpenWave Messaging, Director of Finance at HotelTonight, Inc, Head of FP&A at Delphix Inc, as well as Head of Sales Operations at Clearwell Systems Inc. Before returning to the corporate side, Jennifer was an Investment Banking Equity Research Analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners, LLC, and a financial services consultant at Deloitte, LLC.

Mat is a startup veteran with extensive product and commercial leadership experience in mobile advertising. After building and managing a successful digital agency and a video advertising platform in Austin, Texas, he moved to San Francisco to lead product management for InMobi’s rich media authoring platform and was the head of advertising products at Tapjoy.

Mat frequently speaks on topics including dynamic personalization, mobile advertising, marketing strategy, leveraging big audience data, and the future of advertising. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and their three kids. Mat is a 7th generation Texan and barbecue enthusiast.

Tiffani spent more than 10 years in senior HR and operations roles scaling high-growth startups like Zendesk, Nimblefish and Playfirst. She started her career as a recruiter at the industry-leading Boston Consulting Group. Tiffani holds a B.A. from California State University at Monterrey Bay along with a certification in Professional Human Resources. She is an active member of the technology startup community in the Bay Area and serves as an advisor to other early-stage tech companies.

Sanjay Wahi

Sanjay has more than 15 years of experience in using advanced data analytics to drive customer acquisition, online marketing, and product development. As Sojern’s VP of product and insights, he is responsible for setting the direction of Sojern’s traveler engagement platform.

Most recently he was SVP of product management and analytics for Nor1, where he led the company’s efforts in upsell offer optimization. Sanjay was also director of data insights at Yahoo!, where he led the teams responsible for generating actionable insights on ad effectiveness, funnel economics, targeting, retention, engagement, monetization, and other aspects of behavioral analytics. He holds a patent on advanced processing and segmentation methods of web usage data.

Sanjay earned a B.A. in economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.S. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Throughout his career, Stephen has been a pioneer of data-driven marketing and is passionate about building global businesses. Most recently, Stephen served as the CEO of Qype, acquired by Yelp.

Prior to that, he led Yahoo!’s European consumer business and was EMEA Managing Director for Overture. Early in his career, Stephen was one of the first employees at Air Miles (acquired by British Airways). Stephen graduated with honors from the University of Birmingham and is a non-executive director of several other internet and mobile businesses.

Most recently, Sylvia served as the head of Sojern’s tourism vertical, where she worked closely with the world’s leading destination and attraction brands.

Sylvia spent more than a decade at Travelocity in sales and sales leadership roles, integrating digital marketing campaigns for leading destinations, hotels, and airline partners.

Andrés has almost 14 years of experience in multilingual business environments and extensive management experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments, with primary focus on digital media. Andres has a track record of exceeding revenue goals and building strategic partnerships for companies like the Alcance Media Group, Leapfrog and in-agency at AKQA.

He has an MBA in marketing from University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. in finance and management from Lehigh University.

With nearly 20 years of advertising and media experience, Bill has been instrumental in growing Sojern’s client list and ad revenue. As GM of brand solutions, Bill leads the national sales team in all of Sojern’s non-travel business to help companies like American Express, Barclaycard, Bose, DirecTV, Nissan, Samsonite, and Macy’s reach, convert, and retain the valuable traveler audience.

Prior to Sojern, Bill managed sales growth and developed strategic partnerships at Kontera. He spent more than 13 years directing and optimizing media planning at renowned ad agencies, including Initiative, LSB, DDB, CME, and the Martin Agency.

Bill is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he has also taught strategic media planning courses to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students.

Matthieu is Sojern’s Commercial Director, responsible for accelerating the growth of Sojern’s business opportunities in Europe. As one of the founding members of Sojern’s London office, his entrepreneurial spirit was instrumental in growing and expanding Sojern’s business activities in EMEA and beyond. In his previous role as Head of Global Car and Strategic Accounts, Matthieu developed a strong understanding of Sojern’s business activities in EMEA, North America and APAC.

Prior to joining Sojern, Matthieu supported the build out of the mid-market advertiser business at Criteo, where he established new business and developed key strategic partnerships.

Originally from Brittany, France, Matthieu currently resides in London. He holds an MA in Economics and Finance from EM Strasbourg and a MA in Management and Marketing from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

Stewart has over 12 years of digital experience in travel and tourism at high growth and technology companies, most recently in Sojern’s London office, where he helped establish the Tourism vertical and develop the UK market.

He joined Sojern from Lastminute.com where he worked for eight years developing digital media partnerships across agencies, airlines, hotels and tourist boards on both domestic and international campaigns, as well as developing numerous travel brand partnerships.
