Sojern announced the acquisition of Adphorus in 2017. Since then both companies have grown together—making an impact on how travel advertisers can utilize Facebook.
It has been a year since the Sojern team has joined forces with Adphorus. Today, we wanted to reflect on the acquisition by sharing highlights from the past year and what the Adphorus team is excited about moving forward.

Joining Forces Toward a Shared Vision
“Immediately following the acquisition, we held our first international Tech Summit in London with Sojern’s engineering teams. We exchanged information about our tech stacks and aligned on our long term vision. I think this collaboration from the start really reflects the past year. We have been able to seamlessly share ideas and learnings to ultimately drive development initiatives that serve our collective best interest. There have been challenges, but it is the openness among the teams that has made the journey a success.”

“It’s been a superb first year. Company culture sounds like a buzzword, but that’s exactly the reason we’ve been a good fit. The people, the technologies, the business mentality, and the seamless way of working makes it a great marriage. It’s been exciting to see how Adphorus fits in the big picture and drawing the roadmap to get there. We are ultimately working together to create an offering that’s more impactful for travel brands. We have been able to delve deeper into Sojern’s offering to connect the dots between Google and Facebook, which is incredibly unique.
